Knoydart Munros

This four-day course aims at exploring the rough bounds of Knoydart - one of the remotest parts of the Highlands. The main focus will be the ascent of the 3 Munros: Ladhar Bheinn, Luinne Bheinn and Meall Buidhe although other peaks will be climbed. All the days will provide stunning scenery and include very rugged terrain (but without the need for roped climbing). Access to the Knoydart peninsula is by passenger ferry from Mallaig and our base will be the self-catering cottage, Torrie Shieling, just 1km from Inverie. Visits to the Old Forge (the UK's remotest pub) are also compulsory if only for the fine ales, great food and local music!!!
