INCA EXPLORE - the favourite trek!
A 12-day (or 21 day)* adventure based around the stunning city of Cusco, Peru. The main focus being a 4-day trek along the Inca Trail to discover the hidden mysteries of Machu Picchu. Considered to be South America's "premier trek" for the outstanding combination of scenery, history and culture - and visiting one of the world's "must see" sites!!!

When you hear the word PERU you immediately think of the beautiful city of Cusco, the Inca stronghold of Machu Picchu and the amazing Inca Trail trek. All, of course, not to be missed.
However, Peru has much more to offer the adventurous traveller. Darren has explored further in to this friendly, colourful and lively country and with each visit uncovers some fascinating new site, beautiful region and interesting history.
All the trips and treks are co-ordinated along with Cusco based travel company Inca Explorers. Darren has worked in-conjunction with these local experts for many years - searching out new treks in the Peruvian Andes and linking routes to other Inca sites such as Choquequerao, Salkantay and on to the Colca Canyon. The options are vast but another favourite is the rarely trodden trek to the Valley of the Volcanoes and an ascent of Nevado Mismi (5597m) and the true source of the Amazon.
